Please tell us your story: Who you are, where are you from? Why did you start Keto? In other words, what’s the story?
Hey my name is Sophia but everyone call me Saf, I am from united kingdom exactly London, and the reason I started using Keto is because I was not feeling confident with my body like before I gain some weight but it went most of it t my belly so I looked like a 7 month pregnant lady I didn’t like it at all, and I felt so bad every time I had to wear something tied, I lost all my confident so I stopped going out just work home, my friend asked me to work out but I know I have very bad eating habbit I basically eat everything not healthy and lot of crabs and large amount of coke I cant stop drinking coke, so I knew just working out wont make a difference so I wanted to change my diet and go healthy and I started looking for recipes on the internt as I don’t cook and only eat takeout or on weekend barbecue , and one the website I entered just to see the recipe had a picture of an amazing dish so I read it and it did say Keto so I googled it and then the story started it made cooking ad eating healthy sounds very easy and not expensive so I went to their website and checked it out and what made me decide to go for it is they had options and I can create my mean and what I like to eat, and from that moment my journey started
What did you personally do in your first 10 days of keto?
In the first days I was just trying to get used to my meals and new nutrition plan as I eliminated meat and went for vegetarian plan and getting used to the new habit as it also pushed me to start working out so I started walking for an hour every day and run in the night for also an hour , and to be honest I was surprised how tasty and delicious the food was , I didn’t like avocado before but because it was in my meal I started getting used to it so now I cant stop eating it, than I started to learn about meals and how to make them which was easy and learn about calories and the big difference between now and before also I started learning about those all great nutrition value for all the vegetables which I didn’t know before and let me add one more thing I almost forget they have desserts and they are amazzzzing
So basically I was just getting familiar with the meals and new diet and my new life
Do you count and track macros strictly?
After I started using Keto yes for sure but never before because I was just eating
How has your life changed since going keto?
Omg that’s no word can describe I lost almost 7 kilo in less than two months which was perfect and the best part is I don’t have that belly anymore I mean I don’t have 6 packs but on the way to get them, and the most important things was the energy I was full of energy and feeling good and happy and confident and got myself esteem back and I wasn’t scared to go out because I was feeling good with my body and on top of all of that I got used to the amazing meals and started cooking them for my parents and friends and changed my regime completely as now I enjoy more healthy vegetarian meals or some fish and when I am really in need for a change chicken they had so many options I was bored is not like you are going to eat salad everyday is new meal every time and you get to discover new ingredient and recipes and by the way I just remembered I got it for so cheap because they keep giving us offer
Have you ever encountered a plateau? If so, how did you get over it?
Yes twice in the beginning as I used to visit Nandos (famous chicken restaurant in the uk) at least three times a week ,and when I get there I eat big dish quarter chicken with fries and bread and chips and rice and that was a lot plus so many drinks so I went to my friends and I was tempted to go crazy again but I felt if I don’t it now and give up I will never be able to go to the diet again so I declined and had amazing salade with small peaces of chicken , and again at Mcdonalds as I used to be bug fan and have at least two milkshake a day so it was hard for me to cut that so now I have only once a week, so I just remembered my delicious meals at home from Keto and my goal and now I have more power to control my eating and go for healthy stuff that I can benefit from and help my body
What is your WHY (your drive/motivation) to keep on track and stay focused?
My motivation to stay on track is the great feeling I have everyday when I am eating right the energy I have and confidence and the better living style so for sure that amazing and cant give it up
What is your favorite Keto recipe?
And to the best part my favorite recipe is lemon butter sauce fish and the pizza the fish tasted really tasty and the sauce was amazing I had never tried it before keto
Finally, What advice would you give someone who is just starting out on keto?
It is going to be hard in the beginning not being able to eat all the time as you used to do and randomly and not care about the calories but you will get used to it and what will make it easy is the amazing dished and the meal and how healthy and good for your body are and the best part how quick you will see the results, don’t wait start today stop wasting time an dwasting opportunities
